Company Info/History
Mute Fire-arm silencers is a small, dedicated company designing, developing, testing and building fire-arm silencers for the last 3 years. Based in Hermanus, Western Cape, we consist of a development, production, sales and after sales service section and have built up a flawless reputation of quality and support in the hunting market up to date.
Our aim
To create a balance between affordability, ergonomics and quality for a market ranging from the Casual hunter to the Professionals using our products on a daily bases.

Mute Magnum
Meet our Mute Magnum. Very similar to the Mute Standard silencer, but built to handle more pressure and specifically to handle recoil.
It looks very close to the standard silencers, but is built to handle more pressure and specifically recoil.
The difference is the dipping wall and a real 3 chamber muzzle brake directly after the thread.
This silencer will be specific for the 300WM, 300HnH, 308 Norma Magnum and 7mm RM. But can be highly recommended for any caliber or situation where recoil is the predominant factor.

Mute Phantom
Mute is proud to announce that the Legend is back! After numerous enquiries the Phantom silencer is in stock again. Only this time a lot more refined and purpose built.
1. A slanted, rear end to remove all back reflection into your telescope when shooting with a spot light.
2. Mute’s most aggressive internal muzzle brake plate yet, raking up figures of between 60 and 70% reduction in perceived recoil especially on long range wildcats.
3. A knurled, extended combustion chamber housing an extra long gas retarding tube ensuring maximum expansion of the muzzle blast and unburned propellant with faster cooling down by a higher heat transferring external surface.
4. A total of 8 optimal effectively shaped sound reducing baffles.
5. An ultra mat, non reflective, double anodising process ensuring absolutely no reflection in day and night time shooting conditions.
